About the blogger
After graduating from Bowling Green Statue University with a degree in marketing, Chuck began his own advertising agency serving small to medium size businesses. After moving his office to the basement of his home in the country, he began farming his 35 acres in Huron County, Ohio in 2001. For the past 10 years, Chuck and Murray HIll Farm have been growing produce for local farmer’s markets and is now in the fourth year as a multi-farm CSA.
As a member of our CSA, which stands for Community Supported Agriculture, we provide locally grown produce all year round. CSA baskets are picked up once a month from November thru May and once a week from June thru October.
Surrounded by conventional farms, Murray HIll Farm is an organic, produce and poultry farm raising heritage breed egg laying hens, free range broiler chickens and Navajo Churro sheep. Chuck farms and works at his home in Wakeman, Ohio where he lives with his girlfriend, Heather, and their three dogs and six cats. When he’s not working, you can find Chuck spending time with family and friends, reading, writing and learning all he can. He enjoys traveling in his 1972 VW bus, helping others and caring for his animals.
